The only question I have is this- Mr. Showboat Shane, how in the he77 could you even possibly have thought backing up to take another shot at doing a good wheelstand in a wheelie contest would be acceptable??? I mean come on Dude, why would you want to impress the crowd? Oh wait, you did. But you didn't take all the jing did you? I guess not only a good wheelie will get you the $$$ but a good whine will get the $$$ as well huh? Look at it this way Man, some guys can't take getting schooled by a 10" tire street car that is actually a daily driver!!! Little hint guys, if your gona whine, at least be willing to go out on a limb to win the thing eh.

Count on it! I have my ride set-up to win bracket races, not wheelie contests. But we can certainly go in that direction if your going as far as to call me on the carpet??? Remember, I took my wheelie bars off.

I took my bars off and gave it a shot. The car obviously didn't go straight, or I'd have participated as well. But you certainly wouldn't have caught me up in the tower pissing and moaning because the crowd gave someone else the win. Besides, what made you perk up on this post? Got a few too many guilty feelings rolling around in your head with no where to go? As far as me showing you how to do a wheelie, I wouldn't ever walk up to a competitor in a wheelie contest and tell them they have there hands full because you can do a wheelie past the return road, and then deliver. Funny how things get turned around in my direction. Pull the bars and then talk.

I don't understand why anyone would bring a knife to a gunfight. Anyway I believe there is another wheelstand contest at a later RSD this year. It should work out great for the bracket guy's seeing they will be able to pull the sissy bars off and not have to worry about compeating in the bracket race. All I can say is good luck, I'm not afraid to wreck sh!tand they don't call me showboat for nothing.

Just a streetcar with a few bolt-on's

ok Rick, this is my take on the whole wheelie deal. Gary did not come to the tower and whine, if he did any of that it wasn't to me. I believe the crowd (what was left of it) voted for a pop and a fire. Shane does some awesome wheelies, but they weren't quite there that night. Gary's were. To Shane's credit tho, he came back and did one of the best I've ever seen. The RSD with the wheelstand contest is Sept. 7.
