Any chance the turn off area could be made bigger? looks like a few of our racers are switching to the dark side.(dragsters) They know who they are. Just seems to be very crowded down there and i really dont want to run over any ones parachutes.

| I would agree with needing more room down there. Once the Top cars start running, you have to turn off, get stopped, and bail out and grab your chute to make room for the other cars coming down. Fortunately, most of the racers are good neighbors and help gather each other's chutes on the big end after the run. As for calling dragsters cookie cutter cars, climb in one and take a pass... you'll throw stones at your "family sedan" (just a little good natured ribbing). |

| Gary, I got hooked on diggers when Dale Emmer and Bruce Van Straten were nice enough to let me make a half track pass in their cars, so I guess I can do the same. Maybe some night after eliminations or on a Friday night we can arrange it with Roger and his crew to let you run out to half track. |

| I'm surprised that more Top cars don't go up the hill and collect their chute up there. |

| I use to. but it gets old replacing broken oil pumps. costly too. also not very safe coming back down against traffic. but at least you dont have to pack a chute.. ( since when are dragsters only for the skinny?????? ) |

| Not all Dragsters are for the skinny, but I know from experience that one aint built for no fat guy. I tried sitting in that one and almost had to stay in it. |

Ground clearance becomes an issue with low-door cars that have a long nose when going up the hill. |

| Chris is right Gary, my car is on older one and the cockpit is a bit narrow. We can always use a couple of tire spoons and some WD-40 to get you in and out. Driving a digger is cool because your out front of the motor and your butt is only 3" from the ground. The reason I don't like to go up the hill is because a hardtail car bounces pretty bad and I don't want to break the car like Boofer did a number of years back. I go through a set or two of brake pads every season. |

Hi Guys; If your still a little tight Gary, I have lots of AMSOIL to help slide you in. Just do not use to much. If its dripping it will not hook. Burmie |

| o.k. enough about me not fitting in a dragster..lets get back to the topic. maybe a few loads of gravel would help. i know some would not pull up some more,. due to low cars.last year i was stoppping on grass next to return road.not very flat but it works. oh yeah just saw that racecraft makes a 28 inch cage for people with a little extra girth.hey chris maybe we could get one of those and be a team. |
